A number of people who were elected into CSM4 have announced they are running for CSM5. To this end I have published the attendance record from CSM4.

Apologies are distinct from Absent because they are announced ahead of time.

Disclaimer: Whilst I am also running for CSM5 these figures are a matter of public record.

[ Due to circumstances beyond the author’s control, the handsome, daring and supremely awesome writer is not where he should be. For the past two days the writer has found himself elsewhere. In this elsewhere world the author is without a computer with a connection sufficient to allow for the playing of Eve. Yes, feel pity for him. As we all know, everything comes with consequences. The consequence of elsewhere world means that the author will be unable to provide a 1v1 FUNNY today. It also…

Like that small tiny Vexor beneath that huge gas giant, I’ve come to realize the monumental task set before me. The list below is only part of all the entries to the Women of New Eden contest. And since the contest doesn’t end until next Monday, I’ll still have a few more to add. Go me!

Some of you did not have the introduction with the links included, or a list of 5 participants for that matter. Both will be needed in order to qualify for the contest! Good luck to all!

I swear, some day I am going to write a best-selling horror novel entitled “Large Hybrid Five”! You just watch that I don’t. Nothing has stood grasped around my pasty white neck as long or as painfully as that specific skill. This Sunday, after Command Ship IV is finished, I will point my mouse at it and drag its sorry ass into the skill training window. I hope it’s happy. I hope I am in the (slightly less) month that it takes to train.

I know, I shoulda trained it last…

WordPress has a cool feature that allows a blogger to see what search terms led viewers to their blog. I thought it would be interesting to explore some of the terms people have used to get here. I suppose it’s a self-perpetuating circumstance, though, as when I publish these phrases they’ll simply reinforce this blog as a result.

The first set of search terms confused me.

Really? Curious, I ran the search myself. There I am, at the top of the second…

Before I start, if anyone reading this sees TeaDaze, tell him I said “I told you so”.

Early on, when we were still drafting plans for mining in the static C5, one of the major problems was that hauling the ore through the connecting WH would slowly whittle down the mass to the point that we might not be able to fit the Hulks, Orca, ectera back through, condeming them to a lifetime of trying to build a scan probe launcher out of spare parts, and when that failed, crashing each ship into a…

Jean, mon cher,

It was pleasant in a way to see you while I was back visiting the Academy. I truly wish you well, I do!

But I think it is time for us to acknowledge what is already true, yes? I come to see you, and you are in pain. I am une capsuliere, and you did not make the cut, and you can not live with the differences, and you can not live with me being gone.

I am truly sorry. But it would be best for you to find a woman with two feet on the ground, and a few less stars in her eyes….

When the initial deep space safe nerf news hit, I made an offhand comment on another blog that maybe pilots should be able to set a password on a ship when ejecting; this, I supposed, would make it slightly easier for super-capital pilots to leave their ship inside a POS. Of course, there is still the possibility another pilot with access to the POS will laboriously bump the Titan out into open space. Since then, I’ve been thinking about this idea.

Exploratory Thought 1: Bumping is a…

No today’s post is not about getting your ship out of a bubbled gate camp – well not directly. I was recently struck by some comments made by Zapatero in his editors piece in E-ON Magazine. Zap wrote about how EVE Online was more often than not running away in the background whilst he wasn’t actually actively playing EVE.

I think the point Zap was trying to make was that EVE Online had become a extension of his online activity in a broader sense allowing him to socialise with…

Mon Cher Frere Fransoir,

Oh, I would be beside myself if I were not so bored! I can not write Maman or Marsel, because they would wag fingers at me, but I can tell you, and you will just laugh.

So, I am in the pleasure hub, off duty, in this station in the Caldari border zone. A girl must eat! And they say, “Oh, there is this wonderful place, you will find it, all the pilots go there — the vegetables are flown up fresh!” So I think, “This is where I must eat.” And you know, it is by the…
